Problems in CTC 3.17 affecting certain territories
« on: August 06, 2014, 07:28:36 AM »
There have been some problems discovered after release of CTC 3.17, which we have addressed by temporary workarounds in affected territories.

The addition of the trigger function has created a problem for foreign trains. Therefore, the foreign train function has been disabled for all territories that have them.

The slip switches had the speed restriction applied to the wrong leg - to the straight across leg instead of the diverging leg where it should have been (route setting is not affecting, only when a train is approaching these switches). The territory Copenhagen-Ringsted, which features such switches, has therefore been modified to raise the speed limit in these switches in order to reduce the severity of this problem.

CTC 3.18 will have a correction for both problems, and the territories, which currently have the described workarounds incorporated, will be restored to what is supposed to be there.
