Track condition status

I forgot how to tell when a track is starting to deteriorate and need maintenance crew called out. Is there a command or something you can use?

Call maintenance supervisor on the  CTC phone (either from the alarm panel or directly - for the latter you  need to provide the block number yourself) . Wait until the crew arrives - and set the block to  "maintenance block" when ready

Does it generate an alarm when I need to call Maintenance, or does the track change colors or is there any way to tell the status of the track is?

There is an alarm when the track condition deteriorates such that speed restrictions are enforced for the first time.
Further deterioration requiring lowering the speed limits even more are not being alarmed.
Tracks that have such restriction are shown in light blue instead of white when the block is free otherwise.
If you hover with the mouse over such a block, the speed limits shown in the info line are marked with "*"
