CTC Suggestions / Train entrance speed

When trains come in off a mainline entrance/exit, the train comes in and stops, then takes off again even if they've already got a signal lined up, or multiple blocks to the next control signal.
Can we please allow trains to come in at track speed unless block occupied ahead?

This territory has an issue with a train trying to come out of SD to ML and reversing back in, over and over.  The time for the train to go from SD to ML and proceed to Fullerton is 5:42.  It just sits there coming in at SD and going out of ML and then reversing back in to exit out of SD to come back in, over and over, without ever exiting to Q so that the train can proceed. 
This was brought up by https://forum.webrailroader.com/index.php?action=profile;u=294753 in November of 2022 (see the post below) but nothing was ever done, since I've come back after some time and the simulator has gone all the way to version 5.13.  The territory was originally done by Sumner Herrick, but it shows as contributed by Bruce MacLeod.  BTW, I checked the TD3 territory and there is no Amtrack 761/176 in the train schedule.

Any help would be appreciated.

Will be added to next release 5.14. The letter "R" will be added to the speed number (e.g. "20R") if in reverse. It will be a small "r" if in reverse but the reverse speed is the same as the normal speed, and capitalized if it makes a difference.

This simulator version includes the following changes/corrections:

• Corrections for "Can Add" option in route detailed list
• Detailed list immediately update for vextern distribution and route savings
• Ignore duplicate dynamic routes when loading saved data
• Null Linkage causes crash when determining reachable destinations
