Title: Drawbridge Protection

It says in the manual I can add another drawbridge to the protection list, I'm assuming for when there's more than one bridge at a location ie Hick on Chicago West but I couldn't figure out how to link another bridge. I can link switches to a bridge but not another bridge to a bridge. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is that a glitch?

Actually, now I can't click on anything. I even tried opening up another territory and it still wouldn't let me click on anything.

So, I restarted the CTC program and now I can click on objects but it won't let me do any switch protects now. :(

Ok. Everything is working properly again but I still can't add another bridge to the protection list though. Still need help with that issue.

There is no link between drawbridges. Each drawbridge, however close they are, has its own protection list. Drawbridges work together by having the crossing with the foreign line, where trains pretend to be ships, have all drawbridges by part of the route of the ship line. This route needs to be fixed and have the protection switches listed as protectors of this route.

Thank you Detlef. Can you provide me some pics how to create a working drawbridge mostly closed please? I do better with pics. I can't seem to figure out how to link the ship canal with the drawbridges unfortunately. :(

I guess I'm just having a hard time figuring out a couple things (sometimes I'm not the brightest bulb on the face of the Earth lol).
1) how to link the foreign track (shipping canal) to the drawbridges? I know how to make them cross the mainline with diamonds but not sure how to tie it to the drawbridges as it will not allow me to click the diamond to add it to the protect list. Guess I'm not understanding how to get the foreign track to coordinate with the drawbridges. Hope I'm making sense. My apologies.
2) How to make a foreign track "invisible" to the scene
